Lo último de The sounds, Crossing the rubicon, continúa con las tendencias New wave y Synth-pop que caracteriza a esta banda sueca. Aunque "No one sleeps when I'm awake" que fue el primer single que se presento de este álbum es el mas sobresaliente, también encontramos otras muy buenas canciones como "Beatbox" y "Lost in love".
